What are the file extensions in Tableau?
.tds - Tableau Data Source - details of connection used to create tableau report
.tdsx - Tableau Data Source Packaged - similar to .tds file with the addition of data along with connection details
.twb - Tableau WorkBook - contains information on each sheet and dashboard that is present in a workbook
.twbx - Tableau WorkBook Packaged - details of the workbook as well as local data that is used in the analysis
.tbm - Tableau BookMark - files contain a single worksheet that is shared easily to be pasted into other workbooks
.tde - Tableau Data Extracts - contains data used in a .twb file in a highly compressed columnar data format
.tps - Tableau Preferences - stores color preference used across all workbooks
.tms - Tableau Map Source
